    I am new to everything Acronis related. I am utilizing DD 10.0 and tried to create a partition for the first time. On re-boot everything looked fine. I turned away from the computer and noticed Windows loading normally. However my new partition is not being displayed. However it still took a slice of what I allocated from the old. Now I have 50% of what I used to have on the old without the new partition E:

    The logs shows the following:

    <?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8" ?>
    <log build="2117" product="Acronis Disk Director Suite" uuid="6A74144E-1C47-4CF9-A7DE-542742F45583" version="10.0">
    <event code="1" id="1" message="Committing of pending operations has started." module="100" time="1146248991" type="2" />
    <event code="1005" id="2" message="Preparing for rebooting Windows..." module="10" time="1146248999" type="2" />
    <event code="503" id="3" message="Analyzing partition C:..." module="1" time="1146248999" type="2" />
    <event code="1004" id="4" message="Rebooting Windows. Operations will be executed before the system starts..." module="10" time="1146249001" type="2" />
    <event code="3" id="5" message="Operation terminated by user." module="100" time="1146249001" type="3" />
    </log>

    I did not terminate anything.

    Any ideas?

    Hello collector_edi,

    Thank you for choosing Acronis Partition and Disk Managing Software.

    Please accept our apologies for the delay with the response.

    Please download the latest version of Acronis drivers, install it with disabled logging and see if the problem still persists.

    If the problem still persists then enable logging by running the Acronis drivers installation package once again, reproduce the problem and collect the c:\snapapi.log file.

    Please also create Acronis Report and Windows System Information as it is described in Acronis Help Post and submit a request for technical support. Attach all the collected files and information to your request along with the step-by-step description of the actions taken before the problem appears and the link to this thread. We will investigate the problem and try to provide you with the solution.

    Thank you.

    I contacted support under maintenance agreement and received the following as a solution. It was suggested to simply resize the C partition. I did so and the unused and disk capacity statistics reported accurately. I tried the procedure utilizing the boot media and it worked flawlessly.
