Operating system not Found

I'm having a problem with the cloning of my old drive. I installed the trial version, and it seemed to be working fine until I got to the part when the computer needed to be rebooted to begin the copy of the old hard drive to the new one. I started watching the process of the files being copied and everything seemed fine. I returned to my Windows XP PC after several minutes just to see the a black screen with the error stating "Operating system not found". Well it seems to me that the MBR of the drive is not copied, I changed out the "drive jumpers" several ways, still no luck. I created a boot disk and I can see all my data using the Acronis boot disk but I cannot recover neither one of my disk. Please Help

Please clarify what actions you made when tried to clone disk. Please remove the old disk and try to boot only from the new one. Could you please also do the following?

- Download the Acronis Report utility from http://www.acronis.com/files/support/AcronisReport.exe;
- Run Acronis Report utility and select the "Create bootable floppy" option;
- Insert a blank floppy disk in the floppy drive and proceed with creating the bootable diskette;
- Boot the computer under consideration from this diskette and wait for report creation process to complete;
- Send the 'report.txt' file from the floppy disk to support@acronis.com along with the link to this thread..

This would provide us with detailed information on the hard disk partition structure.
