I think you meant "rocker" gestures, which use the mouse buttons for forward and back page navigation. It would be cool if they had "rocket" gestures too :) :thumb:

I cannot believe they had the audacity to remove the bookmark bar to begin with.. I also cannot believe they have the audacity to not allow you to make default a different, and more secure search engine. Also, Opera dials home WAY too much - even with everything off. (like every 2 minutes it hits a few phone homes) I found it crash prone, and at times a CPU murdering browser. Even so, I like it - but it needs more work.

Just switched to Palemoon today, it's faster, and seems more stable, and I get all of the goodies I want back without hassles.

reckon i'll stay with 12 as long as i can get by with it then - i can't go back to a standard vanilla browser after becoming skilled at using opera for years the way i've customized it.

do even mouse gestures exist in 15 and up?

Yes, but not all of them. Some are still missing (like "Open a copy in a background tab").

You should still try it, the installer lets you do a stand-alone installation.

Version 19.0.1326.59 released, using a newer version of Chromium. That newer version has bugfixes and security updates:

I think that those waiting for full bookmark manager support with Opera are gonna have a long wait, there have been numerous builds & at least over 30 updates in total for all the builds before they added back the bookmark bar.

As I said before I don't think the devs are listening or give a toss :(

It's a little odd, given the strength of feeling around various forums, the lack of a "proper" bookmarks functionality still.:doubt:

Well there's only one direction for them...up. So I suppose the devs not listening isn't doing them much damage anyway. :D

And I still don't understand why they don't add this feature. What would they lose by doing it? Why are they so stubborn? It's like a kid throwing a tantrum without any real reason.

Best browser I've used...this latest version is excellent, stable, quick, extensions are useful (no reboot needed).

    Love it.:thumb: :thumb:

I've checked out Opera v19, and it's still a complete joke. :gack:

I'm sticking with Opera v12, one of the best browsers ever made. :thumb:

There's nothing there. Did they remove it or did you jump the gun?

    --------------------------------------------------------

It's been uploaded to their servers though.
    ftp://ftp.opera.com/pub/opera/desktop/20.0.1387.64/win/

I guess they're still preparing the news/blog post or they found out something bad.
