Opera enters the generative AI space with new features in browsers and content apps

 

Probably yet another pointless feature, trying to grab the headlines. But anyway, what do you think about the Workspaces feature in Opera, is it handy? I've read that Vivaldi will soon launch it too.

 

The last two version of Opera don't keep in memory the personbal background that I set.

 

I think others will shortly follow with AI. AI is on the rise everywhere and browsers without exception.
While I think the workspace is a smart handy feature I don't use it because the way I use Opera doesn’t require it. However I extensively use Flow.

 

I don't see what place AI has inside a browser. And yes, it all depends on how you use the browser, I'm also not sure yet if this Workspaces feature will be interesting to me. On the other hand, I did like tab stacking, it helped me to reduce tab clutter. And I guess Flow is kinda cool if you are using multiple devices and need to share data, which I don't.
