    blacknight, I don't understand the question. Their portable version was released February 15, 2018 - 11:24pm, late last night, as confirmed here:

    Opera 52 is out: here is what is new
    Opera Software released Opera 52 to the stable release channel on March 22, 2018. The new version of the web browser includes ad-blocking improvements, new error page animations and an option to copy multiple URLs at once.

    Good browser, but way too high resource usage, and no option to put tabs on bottom. Plus the bookmarks manager isn't that smooth like in Vivaldi. I still hate Opera for killing Presto, because Chromium is a disaster.

    I definitely agree ! Every new Opera version I hope that they finally added the option to put tabs on bottom, but it never happens ! I think that for Opera developers is a personal question don't do this !!

    They simply don't care, so it won't happen. BTW, it seems like their VPN has been improved. It's now faster, and the only reason that I sometimes use Opera. I would like to dump Firefox and switch to Vivaldi, but first they will have to implement the "limited content process" feature into Chromium, because resource usage is ridiculously high in Chrome, Opera and Vivaldi.     Another thing that I hate in new Opera is that I can't remove the pin sidebar.
