Opera 9.6 and Google Video

Cannot get google video to work in Opera 9.6. Search something and the page just keeps on loading. Any other opera users experiencing the same thing?

 

Google Videos is youtube and it works fine on my PC. Have you installed latest Flash 10, if so its important you uninstall Flash 9 and then install 10.

Also see if u you have the "enable plugins" checkbox ticked?

 

Yup latest flash, plugins enabled.
Simply cannot even search a video in 9.6, just keeps loading. Worked fine in the previous version/s.
Youtube is fine, I can watch and search videos. It's simply the google video search engine that's problematic.

I reckon it's 9.6, and it's a pain having to open up FF everytime I want to search a vid!

If it is a bug, it doesn't seem to be reported very widely...

 

Have you tried a profile reset?

 

It was a cookie problem. temp fix is to set opera to never accept cookies from google video

There was once upon a time a similar problem I had with Opera and Gmail cookies, but it's long since gone....
