Opening SpyWare Blaster

I have SpyWare Blaster 3.5.1 and have been experiencing a problem trying to open the SpyWare program. When I click on the desktop icon SpyWare does not open. I have to click on it three or more times to get it to open. This is the only program out of the 200 I have on my PC that does this. This started about a month ago. I have un-installed it and re-installed it many times with the same results. I have checked my PC from one end to the other to see if there was something on my end causing this problem. Found nothing. Why is this happening? Win98se
