I just set up OpenDNS through my LAN (unable to modify DNS servers through ISP or standard DSL modem).

Is it recommended to install the DYNAMIC UPDATE CLIENT service to enable "Dynamic IP Update" or this is not necessary?

I'm using DSL through AT&T Yahoo!.

You only need the client if you make use of individual settings (web filtering and so forth) and if your IP address changes from time to time.
