Hi! What do you think about OnlineArmor ++? I've got one license, so I want install.
Is lightweight (on log-in screnn in Windows), and effective??

My combo: Prevx 3.0 (thanks for Prevxhelp ;)), Avast! Free Antivirus, Windows firewall. Maybe in future like this: Prevx + OA++.

I run OA++ with both Prevx and Avast! with no issues. Great firewall and HIPS, AV/AM works well with the others.

It is really good security app can be complemented with most of the AVs without any issues:)
Have used OA++ with Avast earlier and didn't find any conflicts:)

Seems some people don't know OA ++ is a full security suite with an AV and Firewall.. The paid version of the firewall is just called OA Premium.

OA++ is full fledged suite but the AV is not realtime but it is on-demand scan type so it can be used with other realtime AVs without problems:)

The av does indeed run realtime. Just not the same as some other AVs. It comes up and says "an infected file is trying to run" and gives you the option of blocking or allowing it. it looks the exact same as any other online armor popup

I run it with MSE without issues and yes it's a nice software. Personally like more OA premium + a-squared antimalware ( have them as two separate products ), you have more control on the antimalware thing. Although this goes against the whole idea of the OA++, which is convenient for many.

Heavy as Hell for me on startup . Afterward , it seems a little slower than others I have used . I removed it because of these issues . Good software though , if it runs without issue .

Nah Didn't bother. I have OA++ running with geswall and MBAM Pro. That is plenty for me. I didn't want another AV running.

I like it a lot. :thumb:
A bit more protection if you run OA Premium and a-squared separately though.

For those running another Antivirus with OA ++ you are lucky you are not having serious problems. Its never a good ideal to run 2 resident / on access shields at the same time. Emsisoft Antimalware 5.0 is coming out soon. They have made changes in the way their engine scans files so you may not be so lucky if you update to the new version. The new version can be configured to work much in the same way as the old version so you may be able to configure it to avoid the conflict, but i wouldn't recommend it. If you want to know some of the changes made in Antimalware 5.0 then check out this link on their website http://www.emsisoft.com/en/kb/articles/news100224/ I'm not sure how long it would take OA to update to the new engine.
