    Yes, it's just been a blip.

    The FBI for sure got only a tiny bit of his Bitcoins. However, unless he prudently hid his wallet credentials somewhere, those Bitcoins are lost forever. If he does have access, he'll be very wealthy once he gets out of prison. While he's in prison, he'll presumably get a good education in criminal practice, and make some good contacts. If he survives the experience, he'll be far more dangerous than he was running Silk Road. That's quite a joke, isn't it?

    They could buy lots of VPN accounts for under-cover operations. But they'd need to thoroughly anonymize them first ;)

    Whatever the future of bitcoin, I hope the use of cryptocurrency continues to grow. With the Fed printing money like it doesn't matter, and US debt completely out of control, I fear for the future of the US Dollar.
