I am curently having issues finding an anti virus compatible with OA paid, I have used Antivir Premium for several months but have had problems with at times either or both the mail and web guards disabling and I have now tried and found both Kaspersky and Avast to be incompatible.

I know there can be system issues but has anyone here found an anti virus program that has run harmoniously with OA paid for a sustained period, I am not concerned if a free/paid program.

I've recently tried OA3 with AntiVir Premium. I found that it ran well if I disabled the like guards in either program. However, I'm one guy that hates to downgrade one program in order to successfully run another. So, it was off with OA3 and on with ZAP8 for me.

I also hate having to downgrade one program to run another but Online Armor is my main program of choice and its a rated anti virus that is compatible I am seeking.

Thanks Mongol,I tend to scan with Dr.Web CureIt every so often but have not ruled it out as a resident av.:)

Online Armor offers an integrated Firewall with Kaspersky built in. Maybe you could try that . They do have a 30 day trial version. I did try NOD32 with this & have always had problems. The last time was the new Free version of Online Armor, On restart the system would not even boot. I had to use my rescue snapshot in FDISR to get going. I think I have actually used Online Armor with AVAST & it did work.

The AV+ version of OA is no longer available, due to Kaspersky canceling the contract. Options are being weighed.

Existing subscriptions will still be supported by the Kaspersky engine.

Thanks, that classes as a long enough period and I will bear it in mind but I am giving Antivir Premium one last chance now I have manually updated Online Armor to the latest version having given up waiting for the automatic update. :thumb:

O.A., paid & Avira, paid are working fine with me, but I considered it totally superfluous to have two programs with a web scanner. I have, for this reason only, disabled O.A.'s web scanner. It also kept on warning me about "dangerous web content" - basically active X, which isn't natively supported by Firefox, anyway.
I run all internet facing programs in O.A.'s "run safer" mode, which is a useful facility, as I can't be bothered to use the "No Script" add-on in Firefox - too many clicks to make websites work!

Online Armor 2.1.0.131 worked fine with the following AV's:
    -Dr Web.
    -NOD32 V2 and V3
    -Avira Antivir

I am running Avira Antivir with all the settings on high and have not encountered any problems.

I am running Avast! 4.8 with two OA3 full/Vista and one OA3 free/XP with all the scanners enabled and absolutely no problems, as are a lot of others. What incompatibility are you seeing? Maybe try the OA forums at http://support.tallemu.com/vbforum/index.php for further help.
