One app to replace PG & RegDefend?

    Looking for one solid app that would replace PG, and RegDefend. Seems that (possibly) PG and/or RD may be kicking SAS PRO and THguard out of memory, in essence killing them off - a problem noticed just recently.

    After checking with a friend, it's fairly certain that no bad
    guys have taken over this PC and are killing off said security apps, (and I've had my share of screwy soft/hard ware troubles on this PC - so again, not concerned that the PC's compromised at this writing).

    If you can recommend one app avail. to replace Reg Defend and PG that's not terribly complex to run and yet one that's a solid hitter about "TCB" if such a one size fits all app exists, I'd appreciate hearing your thoughts on that.
