    If I do the on-demand scanner nod32 2.7 to a file is clean. But if I analyze with VirusTotal is also infected with nod32 [NOD32 - 5868 - 2011.02.12].
    Why?
The virus signature database is updated.

VirusTotal is using a newer version of the program.

New versions means new technologies such as engines for detecting malware. Generally, they have better detection and protection than old versions.

That's how it is, blowip just use the latest version of NOD32 and you will get better scan results. :)

    Hello,

As a licensed user of ESET NOD32 Antivirus, you can download the latest version of the software, v4.2.71 for free from here on ESET's web site. All you need to do is enter the username and password you received when you purchased your license.

If you have forgotten or lost those credentials, you can request they be sent to your email address by using the form here on ESET's web site. If you are outside of the United States and Canada, you can check with your closest ESET distributor or office for assistance in retrieving the password.

    Regards,
