i don't think old threads in 10F should be locked. although it did stop me posting my picture so i can see the benefit of it.

Yeah, it would be nice to "revive" something interesting. There are many threads that deserve to be replied on.

*Why Not* responding to a year old message. :doubt:

When something has aged enough, it is better to start a new thread on the topic rather than bumping an old one. It saves on a lot of confusion. There have been many times when a person has bumped an old thread they found via a Google search, just to add a comment on the topic, then others come along and read the thread from the top thinking it is all new. Often they try to answer the questions in the old posts only to find out that the questions were asked and answered long ago, the person asking the question has long since moved on, or they answer incorrectly because of the age. Such as, telling the person to upgrade because they are using a two year old version of the software, even though the version was new when they first posted about it.

We've found it better to keep the current threads as the active threads, and just let old threads archive for historical and research purposes.

:D LOL. Well..I wouldn't want to cause any confusion.

I see your reasoning and understand. :thumb:

I still think we should be able to reply on big Ed's year old testimony. :ninja:

OK then we can be the admins :D LWM and Paul have been PMing me like crazy for the roles but i think you two will be better qualified and will do a better job. LWM and Paul are going to be very upset and hurt when they hear about this, this thread may even be moved because of it  but i've made up my mind and that's that :D

BTW i have pointed ears too.

i thought of a name for it the Pointy VIP 10F forum. if someone already has that IP they can give it to us and we'll let them run the server for us. all the members have admin status :D only a select few can join, that part's important as it's a VIP forum. i think it's going to be very successful :D

big ed, i have more important stuff in-hand.

BB you can be an admin too, but it won't be called admin it's going to be super, special, fantistic admin with a very powerful important status somewhere above vip level: top secret - eyes only. no one can know about the forum and google can't crawl it. :ninja:

maybe we could each have our own forums o_O i'm not sure.
