Most software companies freely supply the beta version of software for debugging. Acronis has a whole new spin. Sell the beta and then use a forum for debugging. This imaging software has to be the most bugged up software being sold! Think I am exaggerating? Take a look at the daily postings to this forum. Take for instance the software does not recognize its own serial number. Why? because the permissions are not set correctly in the registry. So you buy a piece a software and the first thing you must be capable of is editing the registry?? That should go well with the newbies!! What is really wrong here is that they have a very poor install utility!! Secondly if you do a full image backup but select only a file or directory from that image than you end up with corrupted files on your main drive that nothing short of a OS reinstall can cure!!
