First I might add that I do abuse my windows Xp quite alot with different kind of installs of more or less obscure software, so it is no big surprise that sooner or later it will be too much for even Firstdefense. FDISR has managed to withstand everything I´ve done to my window for 4 years now, but now it seems it had enough. First I get: The log: I updated a snapshot successfully a couple of days ago. This has happened between the good update and this update gone bad: 1. I have installed Virtualbox. (I´ve done that a couple of times in the past too without any problem) 2. I have uninstalled Mamutu. 3. I have installed and uninstalled "RunAsAdmin beta 2.0" I am on a Limited user account if that has any relevance. Something is obviously wrong with VSS coz I get this in Shadow protect 10 minutes earlier: But Shadow protect manage to create the incremental anyway . (I know this isnt SP forum, I just provide the log for comparison.) Is there anything I can do to repair VSS? I know I can easily revert to a good image with SP but before I do that it would be nice to know if there is anything else I can do.
