You are not alone. You can see my thread a few lines down. I have also issues with touch pad and IE8. However I trust they will get it right in the end, as they always do.

    pegas/hemingway60,
You both appear to be having similar issues but we cannot reproduce them whatsoever. If one of you would be available this weekend or during the week, we would much appreciate if you'd be willing to do remote tech support with us to try and get this problem solved.

Please let me know if/when you'll be available so we can schedule a time :) There is probably some subtle issue at hand which should be easy to fix.

Just wondering: are there plans to make SafeOnline available for x64 (specifically Windows 7 x64)?

    Thanks in advance.

    Hi Joe
I found a FP, I know is better sending an email but at the moment here is easier for me (I'm on a Friend's Phone browsing net :D )
Prevx 3.0.5 today detect Wireshark Portable and I think every Whireshark exe as malicious, I download the file from official site so I think is FP
Thnks & sorry if I post here

If you could send a log to report@prevxresearch.com, that would allow me to fix it :)

    Thanks!

Send me a PM whenever you're available for it :) You may want to have other family members by your PC watching as well as a lot of our users find it quite exciting :D

SafeOnline doesn't protect my website passwords in quite the way I expected.

To test it, I set up two dummy credentials for the Prevx site. The first is just "testprevx" (without the quotes). Typing this into Google brings up the screen warning me not to proceed as soon as I hit the final letter x. That is how things are meant to work: my password doesn't get sent to Google (or a phishing website).

The second piece of protected data is "Test Prevx" (again, without the quotes). Typing this phrase into Google does not bring up a warning screen, and hitting enter submits my password to Google for a search (or maybe to a phishing website to open my bank account).

So, it looks like SafeOnline may not protect passwords that contain a space - although it's happy to accept them as protected data in the first place.

Even the protected password is not as strongly protected as one might like. I typed it above as *prevxtest" and then edited it to its correct protected form without any warning from SafeOnline. (But at least SafeOnline cuts in if I type the single-word password directly into this reply box.)

I had the remote support with Joe yesterday evening. Absolutely amazing to see it, indeed. Some problems already solved but a few still need to be polished. Anyhow, Prevx support is paramount! So if you can, let Joe to diagnose and solve problems remotely.

I don't have timed it but roughly 30-40 mins. It is very transparent for you as you see everything he is doing on your computer. It was very funny to see him how he was overcoming difficulties caused by Czech Windows GUI but to his praise he coped it very well :thumb:. And of course you have still the full control over your computer, it means that you can interact him whenever you want.

 The Czech keyboard was a nightmare :D I'm getting used to it from the number of non-English users we have... but trust me, going back to my normal keyboard was a relief. It's amazing the joy that comes from hitting the keys and having the expected characters appear! :D

Could you please try upgrading to our newest version from http://info.prevx.com/downloadcsi.asp and let me know if the problem persists? I believe we've solved it, but if not, please let me know :)

The editing may mess a bit with it, but it should protect it properly if you type in:

    testing[backspace/backspace/backspace]prevx

Could you let me know if this works for you?

    Thanks for the feedback! :)

Have you added the other websites with Medium or higher protection levels? We allow you to add specific websites to Low (or lower) configuration but block multiple ones in the free version if higher.

I just add a site, and haven't really taken notice of the levels when adding a domain.;)

But, on a side note, I would have preferred, that the selections remained like they were in the early beta for SafeOnline, before the switch to the sliding bar. Just seems to be not as good from my viewpoint.
