I've tried it on Windows 7 with Opera 10.10 beta build 1833 without problems. Could you let me know what OS you're on/any other browser security which you have installed so I can try to reproduce it closer?

    Thanks :)

What is the status of the new Prevx's compatibility with Norton internet Security 2010?

Is this now fully functional with 64 bit windows, namely windows 7. I am still confused after reading the web site what I have to do. I currently have the prevx edge with realtime protection. Do we have to pay extra to get the extra functionality to work fully?
Why not just add it for this year and increase the cost for renewal, it would have been much simpler.
I have only just renewed my subscription or a year and am now questioning my decision to do so. I do not like the models that charge for extra functionality in a product. I find this whole process confusing, as probably do many others.

Is this going to be pushed out to everyone? I still have 3.0.5.3.

Will there be a 'read me' or an update to the help file?

I have a nice little blue button on FF as I visit Wilders & a green one when I visit PrevX.com

So I know how to change the colour but that is not exactly how one should work.
    Ignorance is bliss:)

If you click the "Help" link in SafeOnline, it will take you to our new help page: http://info.prevx.com/safehelp.asp

Let me know if there is anything in there in need of further clarification :)

SafeOnline does not currently support x64 but the rest of Prevx 3.0 does. There is an additional fee for the new SafeOnline components but they are optional, which is why we have not included them by default in the renewal process. SafeOnline is a completely separate product which is the reason for the additional fee.

Sorry i dont want to be the Opera idiot but clicking on external links from for example Miranda messages dont open in Opera and only show a new tab with "opera:blank". The same with VirusTotal Uploader, it uploads, opens a tab with "opera:blank". Default SafeOnline settings.

    edit: Disabling SafeOnline helps.

Thanks for the information - you aren't the Opera idiot :D We've had some similar reports of other applications causing this behavior but I'll see if we can implement a more generic solution rather than fixing one at a time.

    Thanks again! :)

For those that don't want to pay the extra for safeonline ( I still think its wrong to charge extra for it ) try using trusteer rapport. I get if free from my bank (natwest). It ensures a secure connection, stops keyloggers and screen capturers the same, you can add as many https sites as you wish, its free and it DOES work with 64 bit windows.
    My 2 cents

I updated to 3.0.5.3 last night and was really excited until I rebooted and got a BSOD. I restarted in safe mode and uninstalled Prevx and the problems stopped. I reinstalled and the issue returned. The desktop would load and got BSOD and restart. I have narrowed the problem down to a conflict with Zemana Antilogger and Prevx. If one program is installed, either one, there is no issue. With both there is a BSOD loop of crash, restart, crash, restart. I am using Win 7 32bit. Any ideas Joe?

    Hello,
We are aware of an incompatibility with Zemana Antilogger - it duplicates a handful of features from Prevx and apparently does not work well with us on Windows 7 from one other user's experience as well. We'll be working through this to restore compatibility in the next version - thank you for the information :)

The £3 I quoted was without the dreaded VAT so my total upgrade price was the same as yours ;)

Thank you. I just wanted to confirm I wasn't crazy. :D

Edit: I apologize for not reading more closely in other threads where you answered the question and a probable incompatibility. Thanks for answering anyway. I promise to do better research next time.
