Updated to .219 perfectly once again

 

I was asking CloneRanger is he using facebook version , maybe that's the problem with his version not auto-updating

 

Sort of ! But i have partial licence. I clicked on Check for Updates and got it



What i don't understand is, as i've had Auto Updates ticked since install, it hasn't ?

Since i just updated i now see something i didn't before ?

Have always had the full version but will not update SO when done manually, but not prob w/auto update. Anyway, all is well.

 

The Facebook edition is usually delayed a few, few days and I think that's because it'd put too much pressure on servers if all editions of Prevx were updated at the same time. The paying customers must get their updates first.

Prevx does indeed monitor keystrokes to provide keylogger protection - it is a correct "detection" by Zemana but Prevx is not doing it maliciously

Regarding updates - a HIPS like Zemana could be the reason why the updates aren't happening for some users. The execution of the updater takes place from the SYSTEM account which could result in the HIPS trying to show a message under SYSTEM, which isn't allowed (and won't be shown on screen). However, it is also true that we don't release updates for all users at once (and sometimes we have some releases lag behind by quite some time).

The current Facebook version and the public release is .219. We have about ~30 partner banks still on .217 but most of the rest are on .219 as well - the others will be upgrading in the near future
