Microsoft is currently working on adding a new Automated Incident Response playbook to Office 365 Advanced Threat Protection (ATP) to allow Security Operations (SecOps) teams to automatically investigate and remediate hacked accounts.

"With the new playbook for detecting compromised users, security teams can automatically identify, mitigate, and contain threats due to these user accounts, reducing potential damages significantly," says the company on the Microsoft 365 roadmap entry.
Besides the automated responses designed to drastically diminish potential security issues triggered by a hacked user account, the newly added Automated Incident Response playbook also provides SecOps teams with important info on the attack

The new Automated Incident Response for compromised user accounts playbook is currently in development and it will be made available to all environments in October.
