O&O DiskImage 2.2

    New version 2.2 released. Looks like another disk imaging application to test....

    Initially it looks interesting until you come to recover your boot drive and then the instructions evaporate. You can burn an image to DVD but it does not seem to include the means to create a bootable DVD. There is a one line mention of Windows PE but the link leads to unknown.

    Most programs at least include a wizard to create such a disk.

    Tried in the past but this is disabledware,no recovery CD and does'nt work,not in a class with even ATI.

    It's rather slow to create an image as well, compared to ATI.

    Unfortunately you have to PURCHASE the program to obtain the O&O DiskImage CD for restoring images.

    If you own ATI or similar apparently its only £20, but its only a bargain if its good and it works!

    If you have to recover systempart.Only way is outside Windows with the help of a thirth party solution like imaging app. their recovery CD. Testing this software with no recovery option is plain ridiculious.
