  4. It's not necessarily junk code. Video drivers are complicated, there are per force going to be bugs... Some of them serious.

    Also, the way modern video cards work is IIRC one of the least secure aspects of desktop computers.

    No you're wrong. Clearly this 1 exploit makes it junk code. I mean, it's totally happening all the time like Flash player. Everyone should use ATI drivers because they are so much better (see the recent auto update exploit).

    (sarcasm)

    They are designed for efficiency not security, that's completely understandable.

  7. Come on guys, what I meant was the last thing we need is our GFX drivers having remote code exec vulnerabilities in them.
