nvidia card trouble again in SL

when ever i update my nvida driver my system get #$%^^ up please help appreciated

Copy the xorg.conf away and replace with one before nvidia driver was installed, if you have, if not, it's ok too, boot into the desktop recompile the drivers, place the xorg back in place, restart X.

thanks very much mrk i did get a gui screen at all and i didnt have backup my xorg file so guess best is roll back and backup everything 1st

edit: from rollback i get my system working i left nvidia and update everything else system working right now ......after backup i try tweaks later
