    Hi,

De Boer will finish his international career from now. I think Advocaat will resign no matter the outcome of this tournement.
Against Portugal there will be only a max. of 15.000 supporters from Holland in the stadium, tickets are only sold when you can show a Portugese passport.
Expecting 11.5 million Dutch will watch tv at home or big screens in almost every pub in the country. Thats a huge amount because we have only 16 million people in Holland.
My forecast will be that Holland wins again, though they are not palying that good at all.
So 40 more hours to weight till the thriller Potugal-Netherlands.
    Cu around :D

I was listening to the radio today and they reported that Dick Advocaat has said he will most likely resign after the Eurocup no matter what happens because he feels he has been treated unjustly by the Media. ;)

Sounds like sour grapes to me..... :D :D

    Green light for Dutch duo

Dutch defenders Jaap Stam and Giovanni van Bronckhorst have been given the all-clear to play in the Netherlands' UEFA EURO 2004™ semi-final against Portugal on Wednesday after recovering from minor knocks.

    Isolated training
Both players trained with the squad on Tuesday having previously been isolated meaning that, with the exception of sidelined Frank de Boer, Dick Advocaat boasts a full squad for the Lisbon encounter. "They can play against Portugal," the Netherlands coach confirmed - but he kept his cards close to his chest regarding team selection.

    Hi All,

Well it's knuckle biting time! I hope to watch the game in a predominately Portugeese Town. I hope they are as friendly as the supporters in the Eng. Pub where I watched the Eng. vs Port. match. If I don't check back in a day or two please send help!

    Hi Guys,

I wont be here tonight. Chances for both teams are equal. Prob. Overmars is playing in stead of vd Meyde. Well thats a good thing. Maybe there are just only 10000 Dutch supporters in the stadium. So holland is playing against 12 players :D
Have a great night guys as I will myself ;)

    Hi,

Back on earth and changed my avatar. Hm, Portugese were better and more dangerous than us Dutch.
Some oldies (de Boer, Stam, Overmars) will leave the national team an will be replaced by younger guys.
We have to look forward to the World Championchip 2006 in Germany.

    Hey all,

Just wanted to add my sentiments on the match. Both teams earned their place in the Semis and, on the day, the best team won. I must admit that I am quite surprised and pleased with the reactions and comments of the posters when their team has lost. After browsing thru some of the other Country's sites has made me fear for the future of the "Beautiful Game".
    Play On!

big ed (PS I made it home safely cause Portugal won)

Hi all, As I have stated numerous times, "What a great tournament". Now that all the "Big Guys" are gone I will just sit back and enjoy the final. I can't decide who to root for because both teams have had a great run. I would love to see a 4-3 match.
