    Yes is right! :D :D

I didn't see the game, but by the looks of the score, Hollland did a magnificent job!

Is that your star player who got 2 goals? ;)

Congratulations to Holland, going to the quarter finals. :D

Let the party begin! :p :D

Who's next for Holland, Sweden? :doubt:

    Hi,

Van Nistelrooy scored 2 goals, gives him a total of 4. Exactly the same as Rooney.
NL plays against Sweden next saterday.

Hi All, Finally a day w/o any controversial incidents. I prefer it when the presumed wronged parties rail at the Refs, the coaches, and the sneaky opposing players. Today was no fun except for the "Oranje". Tommorrow Eng vs Port. Should be a good one!

    Thank u gerardwil. :)

How have Holland traditionally faired against Sweden?

In head to head series who leads?

Also, does D.A. get a reprieve now that his team has gone through? :p :D

or would it take a Euro Championship to save him now? :D ;)

    I know, too many questions! :p :D

    On a more serious note,

    Portugal vs England. :)

Does anyone think Portugal could pull an upset here?

I really dont know what will happen to DA. I suppose as if NL wins the cup he will leave on his own. If NL wont win the cup he will be "asked" to leave. :)
I cant find any figures right now regarding the history of NL-SVE, but I am sure NL has a good chance to win that match.
Portugal-England will be a great match, both have equal chances to win in my opinion. The winner will play against NL or SVE in the 1/2 final.

Yes Gerard, Thank you so much for 'substituting' ;) me. You're a great 'replacement' :D (no serious-I mean it, thanks for filling in while I was gone)

Hello guys and dolls, I'm back and
    :DYIHAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!!!:D

    Gerechtigkeit - Justice

    Es gibt ein Fussbal Gott
    There is a soccer God

    Fireworks are sparkling over Holland
I am not sure what we liked best; our own game- with the outstanding RUUD getting in shape, or the Germans losing to a Czech B-squad, sending them.... nach Hause:p (HOME)

Wow, I wonder how uplifting this may get for the team?

Let's not jubilate too much in advance of what's to come but....We're clearly alive again. And KICKING!

Sorry I've been absent. Did some celebrating (exit Italia, long live the Viking-conspiracy;))
Apart from that I was busy with ending things on my final days at work. From July 1st starting with new job. And did some packing:
Tomorrow I'll go on Holiday.(no internet-but rest assured I wont miss a thing:))
It couldn't have started any better!!!!

Gerard, I take it you'll be willing to take the honors while I'm gone (1 week) to 'host' this thread?
    TIA
To all the rest: Hope to see you back when the Dutch meet the Czechs (we love you now!) in the FINAL again.:D

    ***HUP HOLLAND HUP ***

    regards,
    one happy slammer
(together with 16 million other orange nutcases:p;))

And hey, it's not the way that counts, it's the intention :)

    God, I'm so thrilled.

Hi, Seeing that Rudi is now available how about him taking over in Holland and sending Dickie to Germany. Would this work or would NATO have to be put on "ALERT"
