    :) Hi discogail!

This is a "hook with bait." Are you a fish? There are lots of completely freeware apps to stop pop-ups. I use Naviscope 8.70 which you can still get (though it isn't being supported anymore) at http://www.naviscope.com/.

I love it when they say "unlimited shareware," when that almost always means "some purchase is required!" This is a pretty shallow gimmick. What site is this associated with? We could start a list called "Crappy Commercial Websites" and add them to our restricted sites lists. ;)

When I first saw this post I was thinking how humorous it is (or is it ironic) for a company to sell a pop-up stopper through pop-up ads... ::sigh::

It would be nice to know the site that it came from as you say Prince. Of course, we already have a list of "Crappy Commercial Websites" for addition to our restricted zones thanks to Eric Howes :)

:D The irony is astounding, maybe Norton could infect us with virus that pop up a script advertising their wares. :D

It's quite good marketing nevertheless; aimed at the "average Joe" - who most propably will cough up the bucks. We're talking 90% from all pc users here...

    regards.
