This morning when I started my computer I received a pop up with this message:

    Warnning
Note: Fail to mount the Virtual Partition, Error :6

I have absolutely no idea what this is or where it is originating from. Yesterday I ran by Symantec Anti-Virus Corporate Version, Emsisoft Anti-Malware, SAS, MBAM, and Hitman Pro. I then backed up my C: Drive using Macrium Reflect. I did not do anything else.

Does anyone have any idea how I would go about finding out what this is? Any help would be very much appreciated and I would thank you in advance.

Do you use Returnil? It seems a message from it.

    Hi jpcummins,
As wrongway67 indicates, this sounds like an RVS 2008 error message. Do you have the VP compressed? If yes, try decompressing it or its folder (as appropriate) and then see of the error returns.

It was an Returnil issue; I uninstalled Returnil Virtual System 2208 Personal Edition, restarted the computer, and the issue was solved. I am going to reinstall Returnil Virtual System 2008 Personal Edition as I love the program.

Not sure what I did to cause the problem but it is now resolved. If one of the moderators would remove this thread I would appreciate it very much. Thank all of you.
