Sooner or later very large files will get corrupt for one reason or another. After creating an image, I suggest validating the image immediately. If the image is good then run QuickPar on the completed backup and store the recovery set in a safe place. Par2 data recovery is a life saver. I have been backing up for years and haven't found a bulletproof way to protect my data until I came across QuickPar. I suggest that Acronis incorporate some form error correction into True Image. Even a recovery record feature similar to what is used in WinRAR would be better than nothing.
