    Use this tool only when Add/Remove doesn't work. I found this out the hard way :oops:

    What happens if you run it and didn't need to?

    I was using it to uninstall NIS without using Add/Remove because I thought it would clean up better (and dealing with betas the cleaner the better). It caused problems with Identity Safe and I believe it caused the no internet connection in NIS '07 when I went back to it after installing the betas.

    It is supposed to be used if Add/Remove fails or if you want to clean up some more after a successful A/R. It does not replace A/R, it just helps it out.

    midway is correct,i un-installed nis'08 with it and there norton entries still being shown in "add/remove" installed program list...........
    avoid it...
