Upload it to VirusTotal and see the results, you could also submit it to Norton as a FP and see if they say you're wrong or not.

what kind of threat? file reputation?

like funkydude said - when in doubt, send it to the vendor. it's not hard to do.

    Is a false positive.

Norton blocks files just because it has not been used in the community.

    ratchet,

We've just seen your message on this forum and we are really surprised to learn that Norton considers our software as a threat !

NotiPage doesn't contain any spyware or adware, and our anti-virus have never detected anything suspicious.

Besides, you can verify by yourself that VirusTotal.com is confirming that the software -http://www.notipage.com/en/downloads/NotiPage-Setup.exe- is totally free from any virus or other harmful contents.

We will immediatly contact Norton Company for them to update their database.

Thanks in advance for your trust and support.

    NotiPage Development.

    It's not in their database.
The only problem I had with Norton so far was with the feature called 'Download Intelligence' .
It blocks and deletes any file that is downloaded if there is no information about that file (nobody downloaded it or very small number did).
That's why I've disabled that feature.
