    Hi
I had the same problems with Norton AV2004 and that was why I
downloaded the manual update thing. That was when I my problems
REALLY started and I had to unistal and reinstal NAV. Now, since my upgrade to xp from ME I can't even reinstal the virus program after it
stopped working altogether. The support has not been much help
and I did everything it suggested on website but whenever I try reinstalling it stops half way and asks for a file to the location of the manual update thing which seems to be in limbo somewhere. It rolls back uninstalling and then leaves all the files I was suppossed to delete as per the website and doesn't uninstall everything. Ive sent
several emails last week and still waiting. Anyone have ANY idea how
to COMPLETELY remove the stupid programo_O I tried Symcln and all their supposed removers of older programs left but they are STILL there and all the keys they 'removed' totaled 0. AND now I have trouble with my browser when I try to log to check my computer from their end for any infections. It asks for ieversion6 which is what it says I have, and directX enabled which IS enabled. If you hear loud shrieks and computer equipment flying out of a window it is probably me as it is driving me crazy!!!
Seems the more they make windows 'user friendly' the more complicated it gets.
