Since about a week nod32 seems to be causing high cpu usage (>90% in nod32krn.exe according to the taskmanager) and stalls programs that are trying to perform a task that involves writing to the hard drive (not the other programs). This happened when downloading programs (using Seamonkey 1.18 both archives and other) and when extracting archives using winrar (3.71). (programs were not updated recently)

This never happened before and I was wondering if anyone else notices similar behaviour.
