NOD32 V.3 Antispyware Protection

    I wouldn't worry with this set-up, but a firewall should also be added maybe!

    You can safely disable Windows Defender .
    You don't need it as you have Antibot and ESET Antivirus. You can only benefit from disabling Defender as it has poor signature detection rate + its behaviour analysis functions are performed by Antibot

    I have Vista's firewall going w/ Outbound protection configured. There's not much out there that's good with Vista and lightweight. Here's hoping Online Armor comes out with a Vista fw soon!

    NOD is antivirus and it is based on scanning files, non monitoring registry etc. Spyware/adware applications are in database, but today many kinds of malware are spread on the internet. You have to rethink, what do you click on. If you have got suspicious file, test it on viristotal e.g. and if few known AV detects malware, submit sample to Eset.
