    NOD32
    Zone Alarm Free
    Online Armor
    Spyware Blaster (free)

That's it. No need for any more. And when NOD32 and or Online Armor release the version with a firewall, you will be able to get rid of ZA as well.

    Simplicity is beautiful!

Basically it's an auditing tool, it checks the current checksums of a choosen list of files against a known list of values - which confirms if the files have been modified or not.

This is the tool I use in Windows (freeware/opensource) - http://www.sdean12.org/IntegrityChecker.htm

    Hi,

    (signature)
    NOD32 + LooknStop + BOClean + GhostsecuritySuite.

I have tried other combinations, but this one remains the best for me by far.
    XP Pro SP2 btw...

I use Winpatrol also, but mainly as a startupmanager etc. and not because of the registry protection...
    Shadowuser for trying/testing software...
Runsafe for various applications (Chat: Miranda IM, Radio: ScreamerRadio, Torrent Clients, Email: The Bat! Pro)
    Disk encryption with DriveCrypt

The Ondemand scanner stuff is rarely used. Maybe once or twice a month.

    best,
