NOD32 using virtual PC ? Ok, thats new to me. As far as i know only Norman (Sandbox) and BitDefender(HiVE) use such method.

Yes, we do. Our engineers confirmed it's very effective at the level of system code and according to the number of various variants submitted via ThreatSense and the statistics based on online scanners' results, I can only second that.

If NOD32 runs so fast with virtual PC technology......it means that Eset has some very skilled employees in there. Well done, Eset! :)

Marcos, so you're saying that NOD32 is using Virtual Environment like Sandbox/HiVE to test files? Didn't understand your post too well...

I don't know how exactly the other technologies work, but NOD32's heuristics / advanced heuristics uses a virtual pc to simulate the behaviour of scanned files.
