  1. I'm planning on recommending NOD32 to a company I am working at that needs to install an anti virus solution on all of thier systems. I have found excellent reviews and comparisons about the strengths of the product for client systems, but I am a bit concerned about the lack of data on the Exchange 5.5 and Windows 2000 Server and NT 4.0 Server products. Could someone point me in the right direction or offer advice?

    Thanks!

    Hi Patrick,

    >the Exchange 5.5

    Have you seen this link?

    >and Windows 2000 Server and NT 4.0 Server products.

If the client should update the virus signature database from the server - the NOD32 v2 Administrator version can be used. More info here.

If you have any other questions, pls. ask.

    Rgds., :)

  3. Thanks for the info Jan!

I am aware of the existence of these products (NOD32 Server and Exchange 5.5 app) and the claims they make, but I was looking for industry tests or comparisons of these products.

Have any third-party organizations done any testing for NOD32 for Servers or Exchange 5.5?

    Hi Patrick,

NOD32 is a single engine, multiplatform av system. The detection
capabilities for on the exchange platform are the same as those for any
    other windows platform.

I am not aware of any official tests.

    All the best, :)
