NOD32 fails to update

    NOD32 will not update at all, I am on a trial that doesn't expire until August 5th. When I click update it asks for a username and password, what's up with that?

    As far as I am aware the only time that the Trial Version asks for a UN and PW is when the trial period has run out.

    Once you purchase you have to uninstall the trial version and download the commercial version.

    I'm checking out NOD32 with a trial version, also set to automatically select the server, and I'm getting virus definition updates with no real problems.

    At the risk of suggesting something potentially obvious, you don't happen to have a software firewall that is blocking the connections?
