    Ever since NOD32 v3.0, all the updates to the software didn't solve this problem for me... Most of the time, like 90%, the context menu doesn't popup when I right-click on the system tray icon.

    Also, if I double-click the icon, the main window doesn't open... What's wrong?

    As far as I can tell, if I restart Windows, the icon context menu and double-click will work for some time. But after a period of time, it will stop working and never work again unless I reboot, or maybe, close the egui.exe process and restart it. Both workarounds are a pain in the ass...

    Am I the only one with this problem?

    It doesn't seem to be a widespread problem. I personally would try cleaning the icon cache as posted here.

    It may or may not help.

    I was hoping it would. Are your video drivers up to date?

    You can alway put a shortcut on your desktop to egui.exe for access until the problem is solved.

    They are not, but I can't see how driver updates can have anything to do with how a simple icon interacts with Windows.

    Nah, I hate icons on the desktop. I have my own way of organizing my shortcuts and I can't fit a shortcut to egui anywhere.

    I guess I'll just have to deal with it for the time being...

    Alright, I am seeing this on my primary workstation as well. Vista 32-bit running 3.0.669. The system tray icon will show the alt-text when hovered over saying build number and the current definitions but I can't get a right-click menu or launch the management console by double clicking. Cleaning out the icon cache didn't take care of it, but killing the egui.exe process and restarting fixes it for a time.

    I ended up updating my ATI drivers and I haven't seen the problem reoccur, but I am not positive if that was the fix, if nothing was fixed and it is waiting to come back, or something else did it.

    I am having the exact same problem with the icon in my system tray. No right click menus and double-clicking doesn't do anything. I am running Vista Home Premium 32bit with SP1.

    I'm not seeing the problem on Vista, until just over a week ago I was running NOD32 3.0.669.0 on my XP Home machine then I bought a new machine running Vista Home Premium SP1 and uninstalled it from XP and installed on this Vista machine, I can right click the icon in the notification area and get the menu and also can click the icon to open up the program window as well.;)

    @ronjor
    That's a fix for XP, not Vista.

    @Joan Archer
    Like I said, some times it works, sometimes it doesnt.

    @SmackyTheFrog
    My drivers are not updated either, maybe that will help... :)

    Do you have a 32 or 64-bit version?
