New beta is not saving my changes. I have three partitions on one physical hard drive. I only want to scan the first two, as the third is "junk." I have gone in and set to scan just C & D, but when I exit and come back in, all three are checked again.

Other settings are not being saved also, such as the items under the setup tab. What am I doing wrong?

Win98SE. Clean install of this beta.

Can't help you hayc59; I've done only clean installs.

I am having a problem retrieving mail. If Imon is running, I get a 10035 error while downloading messages. With Imon disabled, no error.

Email client is Becky! with K9 spam filtering.

Almost forgot: still can't get rid of the "install Outlook" message. Can't disable MAPI permanently.

Got rid of the Outlook message :D --for good, I hope. Unchecked MAPI then went to Profiles tab and saved as Default profile. Also checked "Use this profile as default ... Explorer context menu." The way to get to this setup is through Run NOD32 in Control Center (or from context menu). Don't use NOD32 System Setup--a bit counterintuitive. :p

Hello, it is no update for v1.

Uninstall, delete ESET folder and reboot before installing v2.

Tried Beta 5 Imon with PocoMail and K9. Similar problem, but this time the error code is 10053 when fetching mail. If I turn off Imon, it fetches OK.

I also tried Imon and PocoMail without K9. It fetched slowly, but without error. So the problem seems to be between K9 and Imon.

It seems I got the latest Beta5 without downloading it, update 1403 seemed to updte it for me, opening up the console it says (next to the eye) beta 5!

Running well so far, I did wonder why the update was over 2meg big!

    Hi Finn again,

    >Here's the error log with Becky!, K9, and Imon:

The K9 developer promised to correct this in the next release of K9.

Thanks for letting us know. :)

Hey Finn, looks like Robin Keir has updated the K9 program and fixed your problems (thanks Jan)

And I'd like to thank you Finn for opening my eyes to this excellent antispam program, I'm currently using it now and its learning fast!! a very good program.

Yep, the basic problem seems to be solved, but I have had one problem with it stalling downloading a large (2 meg) attachment.

If you have some old spam messages and old clean messages, you can train K9 much more quickly.

I've built up quite a large blacklist now too, the basics of it was sent to me by Robin himself, I just added some of my own.

I guess we'd best drop K9 discussion here, its getting off topic and Paul or someone will arrive soon to spank us if we dont!! ;)
