I have a client who wants me to install these 2 in tandem. I have no problem with that but both of the latest vesrions of these 2 have web control features.

Q 1 Should I turn off one of these if possible?
Q 2 If yes for Q1 which one should stay on?

Yes I'll try to exclude them from each other.

This thread is NOT a "my FW or AV" is better than yours....please..

    Hello Beethoven1770:

Can you tell me what your reasons were for that choice?

I am not challenging you at all just want to understand. :D

I have never seen OA webshield in action.

note that OA's web Shield is not a true Web Filter/protocol scanner but more a DNS/domain checker based on whitelist, so no conflicts normally, just maybe slowdowns in some system.
