    Hi all

just installed NOD32 for a client today, and upon restart all was good with NOD, but her Google Desktop program reported a clash with another program, namely NOD32, and its 'imon' dll (or something, apologies for not noting specific file).

So I asked her about Google Desktop's importance, which equalled zero, so I uninstalled it and all is fine.

    Any ideas tho? Thanks!

    :)

I thought they sorted out the NOD32/Google Desktop issues - are you sure the latest Google Desktop was being used? I have NOD32 and GD running fine together.

Get the newer version of Google Desktop. Early versions did cause issues with IMON....Google fixed it in newer versions.

Thanks for the replies ... must have been an earlier version. I didn't know about this so in the interests of security & priority GD got the boot!! :p

Will keep in mind for future installs with GD involved.

    Thanks all. :thumb:
