The English, Czech and Slovak versions will be updated automatically to v. 2.50.25, but this will take time, depending on the load of the update servers. It does not mean that pressing the Update now button will update your NOD32 automatically if the servers are currently deluged with update requests.

However, you can decide not to wait a couple of hours / days for the component update to take effect and can download & install the latest version manually.

Other language versions will follow, depending on how fast we get the translations of the necessary files.

Before update and immediately after installing the date was 13 June on Nod32 Control Centre, I thought that perhaps it had just 2 days of update. It must be downloading full definations file.
Does that look and sound correct?

Did you install it over the previous version or performed a clean installation? If the latter, note that NOD32 must first download the whole 2-MB base update before incremental updates can take place.

OK, Thanks, I performed a clean installation. But why should it download the whole base file in case of clean install? :)

How could NOD perform incremental updates without downloading the whole database first?

I thought that the latest full database would already be included with the installer. Anyways, thanks :)

Me too. I installed clean down to deleting ESET folder in Program Files after re-start. I also searched registry before re-start. :p

I just updated by installing over previous build with no issues, I also had update 1140 with the previous build and that stayed, I did not have to do any additional downloads!

I just got the prompt today, I have not installed it yet though. Has it been going smoothly for everyone? Any problems so far?

I did the component update and did not reboot fro another 12 horus or so.. had almost forgotten upon reboot and that first boot took a little longer but not everything's smooth as can be. I will admit that instead of taking some fraction of a second with the NOD spash on startup it now takes 2-3 seconds... No bother to me.

Well I did it today, it only took a few seconds and everything went well. NOD seems to be running just like it was before the update. Thats werid how your splash screen took a bit longer, mine has alway taken a few seconds, but it does not bother me, I like the new one, and for those who dont you can alway just disable it.
