Lost yours somehow.
Something wrong with your Explorer? I can see it fine!
By the way....if it is not there, how could you get it and edit it?
I dont see it either, i'll have to wait for DNS update...
http://126.96.36.199/attachment.php?attachmentid=176055&d=1142799097 shows me the picture
https://www.wilderssecurity.com/attachment.php?attachmentid=176055&d=1142799097 sends me back to the message:
Wilders Security Forums is changing webhosting companies.
In order to accomplish the move, the forum will need to be closed
for about 4 hours as the data is backed up and moved to the new server.
But the update is finished already......I don't understand! But where do you get that link to the wallpaper?
As Benvan45 stated, the update is finished. Make sure you haven't got a firewall that uses DNS cache (and check for an incorrect Wilders entry in it, delete if found) , and, if running windows XP, also repair the connection to make sur Windows's DNS cache is cleared too.
I think of these possible issues because when using the IP the image shows OK, so there may be an incorrect DNS error.
Do you see the wallpaper ok?
Yup. But I did clear the DNS cache in outpost befor the forum showed up correctly this morning.
Right.....so, the others need to do the same, I guess.
Wallpaper (OT maybe)
I made this NOD logo wallpaper, and I wanted to share. It's 1280 x 800 pixels (as is my laptop screen), and if you like it I can make a 1280*1024 version. Here you can download it :
I hope you'll enjoy it
Wow, that is awesome! Looks brilliant
I recognize a few photoshop effects in there
Well... it was made with 3DSmax and Photoshop... Thanks Brian N !
Here are the 1280*1024 version and the 1280*960 version (aslo suitable for 1024*768, 800*600 and other 4/3 classic resolutions)
But you need to smooth those edges out a bit
Just a rough example: http://nod32sse.com/icepanther.jpg
Like this ?
I'm afraid I can't do much better... either it's too blurred or still pixelated. This is the best balance I've found.
Looks good, but you can still see the white markers on the bottom of the logo.
Maybe you can make it blend into the background.. That would look good too
I updated the picture (1280*1024) on the same link with the bottom blurred more...
Also blurred the *960 and *800 ones.
Re: Wallpaper (OT maybe)
My compliments, just great.
Re: Wallpaper (OT maybe)
Couple of comments: name of software is "NOD32"
, not "Nod32". ESET logo bears (r) symbol at the right shoulter. The logo is not antialiased
And these elements are under ESET copyright
I can add a copyright notice at the bottom of the picture regarding the NOD32 name and the ESET logo, and the (r) at the right of the logo, and I could (but I'll have to nearly redo images from scratch ) replace "nod32" by "NOD32".
For the "ESET" logo, is it really essential not to apply this volume effect on it ? I mean it adds a nice touch, and having a totally flat logo on the picture would look kind of... well... not-so-good.
I have to go to the university, but I'll make those changes in the evening (at least the ones in the first paragraph, I'll wait for your answer regarding the last point)
IcePanther that wallpaper looks fantastic
it looks awesome as my desktop wallpaper
thank you very much for sharing it with us
