We purchased NOD32 about a year ago, we then had windows 98, we recently upgraded to windows XP, and now for some reason NOD32 won't do the automatic updates that it is programmed to do!! Consequently we got 69 worm viruses!! They have now been deleted. It keeps saying our password/username is incorrect, but it hasn't changed...What can we do??
Hi Anna Is it possible your licence has expired? Without a current user name and password it will not update. Regards, weeNym
Hi Anna, since many of our customers used to use the Automatic dial-up feature available in Internet Explorer I assume the problem is that this feature has meantime been disabled (or you might have updated your IE version to the one that does not support this feature). For security reasons NOD32 does not support automatic dialing natively. However, in the new NOD32 version 2.0 you can schedule automatic update after a dial-up Internet connection has been established. This will ensure that your NOD32 will be kept up-to-date (providing that you connect to the Internet regularly).
