Nod and write only

    Can Nod be setup to only scan files that are written to your hard drive instead of read also.

    a 5 year customer holding a 4 user ESS license asks, a simple frigging question. i have seen 2 Eset reps here and no one can, or will answer this. So I will. Screw you.:thumbd:

    Even though the question was posted in the evening and it's an hour to midnight here, I've tried it on a replicator and it seems that enabling only scanning on file creation in the real-time protection setup would do that.

    Enabling File creation in Nod only

    Thank you Marcos. Kees, you might want to try this one. Eset is already fast but if you go into Real time protection and only tic enable threatsense on file creation only, well, get ready, I am amazed at the effect it has on a positive performance increase.
