such sad responses... Eset announced this version last year and now we are already at the end of February, so I think it is a legitimate question.

Unfortunately every single time they announce there is an upgrade on the horizon they are then hounded as to when. Should the developers require more time to perfect the upgrade, the person who made the announcement is hounded even more with “You said…”

To me, and I have said this many a time, I would rather the upgrade take longer and be right, than be pushed through production with issues, and then these issues cause my clients and myself headaches. A previous update was pushed through (with another AV that I used to sell 3+ years ago) without full testing over a long weekend, every single XP machine that I sold was affected, I had my entire switchboard lit up like a Christmas tree on Monday morning, as well I had clients lined up at the front door…

I say give then a break, they for sure will let us know when we can Beta test it, as has happened with previous versions, and no doubt we will also see a Beta forum set up here at Wilders.

    Cheers :D

I would hardly say that a simple question is hounding them. If it wasn't a valid question, then why did Marcos bother posting a while back stating that it was pretty much finished feature-wise, but still had quite a lot of bugs in it.

I just want to know if there are still quite a lot of bugs in it, or if it is nearing completion now (eg. only a couple of bugs remain) ?

Sure, I know what you are saying. It is just every time Marcos mentions it, the questions flood in. It's like watching a cake being made, it won't cook any faster by doing so ;) :D

    Cheers :D

Don't worry guys, we're actually finishing it right now. I can assure you it'll be worth the time you've been waiting for it.
