no update available since yesterday?

Hello, does anyone know for wich reason Bitdefender has not updated since yesterday? it's more then 24 hours that they hasn't updated it!
And before it updated almost every single hours!

 

Holidays maybe? Besides you have HIVE which has pretty good heuristics implimented.

 

"OMG" why dont i like amatuers some one tell me ?
No "The Hammer" its not because they have holidays, because they dont have it , they have always added from sunday to sunday everyday almost every hour!
So i wonder why, if someone has an answer from them or anything?

The last update was yesterday, you're right. I've been wondering about it too. Maybe they have a day off, since they just worked with Christmas and New Year.

Update:
I can't reach the Live-Support at the moment. It's highly doubtfull the whole company is closed for a day. I'll ask questions about it when I can reach their support.

 

well, maybe but i still dont think so,
because the supporter LIVEchatt is online and i do not think so, i asked them before will you have some holidays before or after the new year and they answered we will work all the time, so they do not have holidays (
but i wonder why they dont update, maybe they work with something important or anything?

yeah but why has it taken more then 24 hours to update it?
have they worked with something or what?
and they updated more then 7 virus signatures after 24 hours, and when i see on a page it was only 1 new trojan added, 7 new virus-signatures and when i see on a site there you can see update-names for BitDefender, they've added only 1 one trojans, they are not familiar!
And someone that know why this happend? after 24 hours?!

 

Who knows.

At the end of the day Symantec and Mcaffee used to do only weekly updates. Now we get upset if AV has not updated withing 24hrs.

I am sure they would have updated if something serious was out there in the wild?

Just relax. May be they had reduced hours on a Bankholiday (Well in the UK anyway) or were doing some training.

I really would not worry about it unless this trend continues.

yeah, but i can not understand how bitdefender gets so good results at the test's of antivirus, because they dont add samples as much as other antivirus products, not at all, and i have follow the page there you can see how many new viruses and trojans bitdefender add's everyday, and also they are not familiar at all, just today more then 7 virus-signatures numbers added, and when i see again on that page only 1 one new threat added!
So i think its very wired how they got so good Antivirus-results test, when they are not familar, and they dont add so many samples at all?!
