[quote*]Or from the inside of a whiskey bottleOr a Heineken! No, really. I accidentally offended someone on another site with a joke I posted. It was about the same gender that I'am, but someone got offended. I couldn't personally see why, but I did learn the importance of being careful what I post in the future. The member & I PM'ed each other, & I got to explain it away. But the whole thing made me realize that there are so many things in the world that offend us all, without us offending each other. I'm new here, but have learned how to speak fluent kindness. However, if I speak Heineken once or twice a year, I don't mean it. ;) :D

Well, I screwed up that quote, didn't I?

Hmm....dunno what you mean with it -talking about confusion ;)- but I'd rather DRINK Heineken than 'speak' it! :D :D
And definitely more than once or twice a year :D

    WELCOME to Wilders, 2dazed :)

Unfortunatly we all will at some time hurt someones feelings with a joke or a phrase that is harmless to us but hurtful to another, But at least at wilders we do try to understand the intent of a joke or a saying or such. There are so many people from so many countries from around the world that just the language barrier is mind boggling. What I am trying to say is welcome to Wilders and that we take that extra step to understand so joke away, we all need a good laugh now and again :D :D ;)

LOL, leave it to me to be the one who comes along 6 months later and starts it all over again.I just wanted to say LWM that as a newbie here I am grateful for the atmospere. It's nice to find a place where people can ask questions without being made to feel shame or embarrassment.I think that alot of the time if people would just ask someone for clarification it would prevent alot of leg lifting and hurt feeling's.I look forward to posting here. What a great bunch of folks there are here.

Well, this is an excellent thread by LWM, not everybody is so understanding and friendly. And, the best solution to all this is to be friendly, don't post/talk in an angry/violent manner. It's better to be happy than being angry, and better to be more polite than being rude, and better to do good deeds than being bad and doing wicked deeds, better to be friends than be enemies. :)

As LWM has pointed out, this can have you tasting your foot real fast. DO NOT release in haste the arrow which can "Never Return". A little thought and composure go's a long way, especially when it's a written thought...

Well, I just could not resist.

Being a new member, this thread sat for over two months without a reply, so I just had to do it.

Do I get "Red Cheeks" for it...........

Just thought this was the right spot to post the comment Ronjor adds to his postings, overhere:

Choose being kind over being right, and you'll be right everytime.:)

Hope you don't mind, Ron. I like it a lot.

    regards,
