If there are no pop-ups and no log entries how could we appreciate it? :cautious:

I don't really think that's the case. Norton records everything and you can opt to receive all notifications.

I couldn't find anywhere on MBAM's site or anywhere else that the price of it is for a lifetime license. For that matter, I didn't see mention of it being "1 year of updates" either.

Do you have a link for any source that specifically indicates that the cost for it is for a lifetime license?

FYI - anyone interested in NIS 2013 can current get a 3 PC one year license at Newegg.com for $29 U.S. if your registered with Newegg. Plus free 7-10 day shipping. That's a bit over $9 an installation; can't get much better than that!

Yesterday I selected a web site that WOT gave a high confidence rating on. Norton AV 2012 immediately detected Web Attack: Mass Injection Website using one of its signatures. Subsequent scanning of the URL with multiple URL scanners including Sucuri said web site was safe. Zulu however rated site as suspicious.

This was one more more instance where Norton saved my butt.
