    Hi Guys,

Just lemme know anyone using NIS 2011 with AppLocker Enabled? I am facing some issues while using AppLocker with NIS 2011. I have enabled all the rules in Applocker including DLL rules. But after enabling DLL rules, my NIS/NAV 2011 is not working properly. I cannot navigate its options nor I can update it.

Please let me know if anybody faced this problem... One more thing I would like to tell you that after disabling the DLL rules, I am able to use my NIS/NAV 2011 properly. So IMO DLL rules are the main culprit. So anybody knows how to use DLL rules without getting NIS disturbed..

    Awaiting reply. :)

The only problem faced on my parent's laptop was Norton Toolbar not working when default .dll rules were enabled. Applying a publisher rule from a Norton .dll got it to work.

I see. Have you tested it with default rules?

    Apologies for not replying sooner.

I have installed Norton Internet Security on my own computer.

I had AppLocker set up with DLL rules enabled and default rules for everything.

I faced the same problem as you. I applied a publisher rule with a Norton DLL and the problem is gone.
